Hi everyone,
I’m excited to announce that our official LetsFancy Blog is now live! 🎉
From now on, this will be the place where I share product updates, behind-the-scenes stories, and tips on making the most of LetsFancy Keeps.
Why I Started LetsFancy Keeps
To kick things off, I’d like to share the story behind why I created LetsFancy Keeps — the same message that inspired our homepage.
It started with toys — but over time, it became a whole philosophy.
The Problem: Losing Track of What We Care About
We often lose track of the things we care about. In my case, I built this app because I kept wondering: where did all my son’s toys go?
New ones kept coming in; however, we had no idea how many we already had, where they were stored, or what they were worth. Some he loved and played with every day. Others? Tried once, then disappeared into a drawer.
Over time, they ended up scattered everywhere — under the bed, in boxes, on shelves, or just lying around. As a result, when it came time to tidy up, we didn’t know where anything belonged. So we stuffed things wherever they fit. We forgot what we had, bought duplicates, and lost track of what really mattered.
It’s Not Just Toys
It wasn’t just toys. Similarly, the same thing happens with books, vinyl, sneakers, and collectibles. That’s why I wanted a minimalist, visual way to organize favorite items. Spreadsheets didn’t help. Notes got messy. Most inventory apps felt like they were built for warehouses — not everyday life.
The Solution: LetsFancy Keeps
So I built LetsFancy Keeps, which lets you:
- See everything you own at a glance — organized by category, tags, date, or value
- Log each item with photos, descriptions, and assigned places
- Give “Fancy Scores” after each use, and let Smart Rankings surface your true favorites
- Track usage to know what you love, and what you can let go
- Sync across iOS & Android — phone and tablet
- Enjoy a private, ad-free, cross-platform experience
The Mindset: Own Less, Enjoy More
It’s not about inventory — it’s about clarity.
This is my first app. What began as a small fix eventually became a new mindset: Own less, enjoy more, and remember what matters.
